3 Simple Rules I Learned from Mom...

Hello, Beautiful People!

We are still talking about Mother's...wisdom, of course!

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dates all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. A good mother loves fiercely but ultimately brings up her children to thrive without her. -Agatha Christie

It's hard to imagine a word without your children. It is even harder for your children to live in a world without you. This past Mother's Day, I looked at all the beautiful social media postings about their Mom. Only to notice many of my family and friends have lost their mother's. So this holiday wasn't so joyful for some of them. All those beautiful memories but none will bring back those beautiful moments. Moments are all any of us have when this life is over. Therefore, you have to live fearlessly and passionately about your today.

3 Life Lessons I Learned from My Mom...

1. Live for today!

You can store as many things in this life. But you cannot restore your life with those things. Make today your best day! Live in the now and tomorrow will worry about itself.

2. My Mother's Law of Attraction

My mother never ever meet strangers. No matter how much stranger danger I try to teach her. She completely ignores me! But I've come to realize, you can meet some really great people by being open. Often times, we close ourselves off to the world. Only to realize that same world needs us in some capacity. Today, you could be a fountain and the person you meet a desert. But after your encounter, they are now a flourishing garden. If you follow the root of something, you can find it's life line. Most times that lifeline is love. All we need is love...and coffee!

3. Jump

I know Steve Harvey recently wrote a book with the same title. However, he was not the first to use this analogy. My mom believes in jumping! Parachute or not she will jump! I will try to mitigate my risks first. But...I have learned there are not smooth mountains. Therefore, you will get some scrapes, scars, and blisters reaching for the top. The top is a wonderful resting place. I'm not there yet, however, I am enjoying my life journey to reaching my own success. This life lesson is sold in stores all over the world. But for me, I listened to wisdom and received the world for free.

Now it's your turn!

Let us know, what lesson your mom taught you?

Until next time...Live fearlessly and passionately for today!
